to the okcupid anon: Go int that date knowing that, no matter what, you are an awesome person. I have social anxiety disorder and body confidence issues, so I know how scary it can be. What helped me feel more comfortable is reminding myself that he had seen my pictures on my profile, so he knew what I looked like and what to expect beforehand. For me remembering that took the pressure off b/c he clearly already liked what he saw, ya know? Good luck to you and message me if you want to :)
